Ann Kaye

Ann Kaye joined the BBC in 1971 and was a staff producer and presenter on BBC Radio London & BBC GLR, a producer for BBC Radio 4 and also worked in BBC Television’s Presentation Department before going freelance in 1992. She was the person who discovered Vanessa Feltz and taught her how to be a broadcaster!

Ann has also produced most of the main-stream presenters at London commercial radio station LBC; she's produced features for BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service), produced and narrated tapes for visually handicapped customers and shareholders for BT and produced, presented and conducted interviews for "Jewish London" on BBC GLR. She has also contributed features and interviews to BBC Radio 4's "Does He Take Sugar" and "In Touch".

Ann was also the first producer at the national radio station Talk Radio UK and helped set up the station. She has worked as a senior journalist at BBC Three Counties Radio and has been head of production for an independent radio production company.

She was also a lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire, Lambeth College and for Women's Radio Group. Her teaching has taken her as far afield as China, where she advised Radio Guandong on coverage of women's issues in radio on behalf of the British Council and to Rome, teaching communication skills to Roman Catholic priests at the English College. She has also recently worked in Malta, Lithuania, Romania and Ukraine running training sessions and advising on media strategies on behalf of the EU.

Ann is an accomplished media trainer, in both radio and television interview skills.
