Pauline Cavilla

Pauline Cavilla is a journalist, broadcaster and voice-over artiste of many years’ experience. She started working for BBC local radio in Shropshire before moving to London to become a continuity announcer for BBC 1 and BBC2. She has a diploma on radio journalism.

She is the voice behind a number of TV and radio commercials and was also a newsreader and contuinuity announcer for BBC World Service. Her voice can be heard giving announcements on many London Underground stations and she is also an “audio describer” for BBC, Channel 4, Five, BT Sport and UKTV - detailing what’s going on on the screen, to enable blind and partially-sighted people to enjoy TV.

Her voice-over clients include P&O Cruises, Radisson Hotels and
Rosetta Stone language courses and she is one of the voices on
the MS Society’s recorded magazine “MS Matters”.
